Villa ''Serenity'' has an excellent location: it is situated in historical part of Dubrovnik, on the higher ground that affords it outstanding view of the sea and island of Lokrum. Behind the villa there is a park and its growth protects the villa from the noise. It takes just 20 minute walk to get to the center of the town and the beach is just 50 meters away. Villa Serenity is surrounded by pine and cypress trees that give you privacy as well as with Mediterranean plants whose aromas inspire relaxation. This villa consists of ground floor, first floor and second floor. Interior decoration is characterized by simplicity,white color and wood as material for furniture and ceiling. Villa Serenity can accommodate 8 persons and its ideal for families and groups of friends. Pets are not allowed. On the ground floor there is completely furnished kitchen with dining room and living room as well as a separate WC with washing machine. Living room is furnished with flat screen Sat-TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. First floor consists of 2 double bedded bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with queen sized double bed) and bathroom with a tub. Second floor has 2 double bedded bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with queen sized double bed) and a bathroom with shower. Aside from enjoying the near-by beach, the closeness of the center of Dubrovnik will allow you to spend time sightseeing its many historical buildings, participate in various events and sample local cuisine. A security deposit of EUR 300 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable after check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Take a trip to Dubrovnik and it won’t take you long to understand why it is Croatia’s most popular tourist destination. A fantastic place to visit anytime of year, it’s during the summer months that you’ll get the most out of this wonderful city. Dubrovnik is a city with a long and turbulent past and its history is never very far away. The ‘pearl of the Adriatic’, it is one of Europe’s most stunning cities, its Old Town becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. The Dubrovnik city walls are a must visit and you can walk along them too. This walled city has long been a symbol of freedom for Croats, as it has spent much of its history as a self governing city-state, successfully defending itself from invading foreign powers. You can sense this abundance of history as soon as you are near the beautiful city walls. There’s not just an abundance of history on offer in Dubrovnik though. Despite being a fully functional Croatian city (albeit a small one), it is also simultaneously a fantastic holiday resort too, with fantastic beaches and activities. That means when you visit Dubrovnik you really do get the best of both worlds. You can shop till you drop in the streets of Dubrovnik and you will find some of Croatia's best shops here, from expensive designer fashion to high street names as well as a multitude of interesting Croatian shops selling a wide range of goods. Eating and drinking in Croatia as you would as expect is excellent and you are spoilt for choice with the numbers and quality of restaurants and tavernas on offer. Visiting in summer is particularly recommended as this will enable you to visit the Dubrovnik Summer Festival which is held in July and August. Dubrovnik is also a great base for touring the wider region. There are other tourist resorts in the close vicinity that are well worth a visit and these include Cavtat and Župa Dubrovačka which are easily reached by hire car, taxi or by public transport. If you want to explore a bit further afield, then Dubrovnik's port offers trips to various islands nearby including Mljet, Šipan Koločep and Lopud. All of these are beautiful places to visit whilst staying in Dubrovnik.
